Jorge Penadés
Jorge Penadés (b. Málaga, 1985) investigates and designs new possibilities for our built environment. Influenced by Mediterranean culture, his office engages in objects, spaces and strategies, responding to ecological, social and cultural demands. Often reinventing materials and techniques, the office´s ambition is to develop work that expands the limits of what is possible today. Recent projects include: a reversible wool rug in collaboration with cc-tapis (2026); Uprooted, an investigation about Spain´s olive oil industry (2025-ongoing); Camper´s store at Shin-Marunouchi building in Tokio (2025); the exhibition The Final (Group) Show, co-curated with Matylda Krzykowski at Dropcity in Milan (2023); a limited-edition furniture collection for Berluti, LVMH group (2021); and a vase collection for BD Barcelona (2019).
