While hands often appear in Fornasetti’s imagery engaged in symbolic gestures, here it is stripped of all adornment. Portrayed in sculptural solitude, the hand stands alone as the sole protagonist, celebrating the rigor of anatomical detail without distraction.
Proudly made by hand in India, this 100% wool rug is crafted using the jacquard technique, weaving intricate and raised patterns directly into the fabric with a specialized loom. This technique enhances the sculptural quality of the design, giving depth and texture to the pure, refined motif.
