At the base of this project there is an impressionist approach. I started from my personal memories and feelings related to traditional carpet iconography and I optically recreated classic decoration. After the first glance, modules start to emerge from distant worlds, abstract geometries that follow mathematical patterns like musical “ritournelle” or jingles, which is where the names of the
rugs stem from.
