GUCCI DESIGN ANCORA

From an idea of Creative Director Sabato De Sarno and co-curated by Michela Pelizzari from P:S, the Clessidra rug is part of Gucci Design Ancora, a special edition of five Italian design icons tinted in the House’s signature Rosso Ancora hue.  

Clessidra, a unique reedition of an iconic design of the Italian architect Piero Portaluppi, produced in collaboration with his great grandson Nicolò Castellini Baldissera, edited by cc-tapis (2024) for Gucci.

Unveiled during the Milan Design Week 2024, cc-tapis was amongst the five companies chosen to represent the golden age of Italian design in an immersive exhibition conceived by Spanish architect Guillermo Santomà at Gucci’s flagship store in via Monte Napoleone 7.
