CC-TAPIS AT HEIMTEXTIL 2026

cc-tapis joins among-all, Patricia Urquiola’s new installation presented at Heimtextil 2026, with Giano Bifronte.

Conceived as an open and evolving ecosystem, among-all explores textiles as active matter, shifting the focus from finished products to processes of transformation. Materials are understood not as static surfaces, but as states in constant transition—moving between craft and industry, softness and structure, waste and resource.

Within this landscape, cc-tapis presents Giano Bifronte, a sculptural seat originally introduced within among-us and reinterpreted here through advanced robotufting techniques. The piece features a new fringe covering made from ECONYL® yarn, a fully recyclable material regenerated from recovered waste such as fishing nets, discarded carpets, and industrial residues. The transformation of waste into a tactile, expressive surface reflects cc-tapis’ ongoing research into material innovation and circular production processes.
