Casellario monocromo 2.0 Moonlight

The continuation of the design research that inspired the first rug designed by Parisotto + Formenton in 2014 was the foundation for the new Casellario Monocromo 2.0. The geometry of the rug, with highly contemporary lines, recalls the patterns of wooden or stone floors laid in a casellario or block form. Playing on an apparent contradiction, the fields of color are juxtaposed with different materials (Himalayan wool and pure silk) giving varying depths and tones of the same nuance, read as a series of tone-on-tone nuances with contrasting levels of brilliance.
