Oldie Dark

The Oldie collection explores the natural aspects of completely undyed Himalayan wool. A special knotting technique created by cc-tapis is used to create a full pile which is soft and warm to the touch whilst the cotton warp can be dyed in any color which creates a subtle highlight and colorful fringes. After the hand-knotting is finished the artisan cuts some of the knots at random which open, covering the colorful dyed cotton pile creating the beautiful “lived-in” effect which has become the signature feel of the Oldie Collection. Absolutely no chemical or acid washes are ever used during production.
